Pray with me in 2016 Lenten season
Grant O Lord, that through the observances of lent, I shall learn to see all creatures as one, from the womb of the same God. That I, and all Christians may see and experience the depth of God's mercy so much as to extend such mercy to all men without exception Christians and non-Christians alike.
May people of all religious inclinations be knowledgeable enough to know that judgement and condemnation is not for us but God's prerogative and as such live the life of neglecting what we may term evil in the lives of others and channel the resentment that would have gone with such categorisation into love for others and seeking good in everyone. By so doing, shall we deemphasize evil and emphasise your love and mercy and when death, the transformation of life comes, we would be very much ready to see you and enjoy the joys of seeing you facie a facie; the beatific vision.
Amen.
