There in this One God is the first Person: The Father... Our catechism taught us that God is the supreme being, who exists onHis own, and is infinite in all perfections. He is the God-HEAD, untouched unseen, the initiator, the spokesman-let us make man... Let us...
The Son, the word who according to John's Gospel was in the begining, is God, was made flesh, and dwelt among us. He is a divine revelation of God Himself. Throughout the ages, God speaks,teaches, instructs and makes Himself known through the patriachs, the judges, the prophets... But He God in the fulness of time sent His son, the word to teach that divine truth as the truth itself. He the founder and head of God's solidarity movement: the ecclesia, the Church. Having spent 33yrs on earth, bore witness to the truth and brought God's salvation'closest' to man, was persecuted, went through passion 4 our sake,Died, was buried and rose on the third day. He went up to heaven with a promise of never abandoning us, that he is to remain with us until the end of ages.
While ascending into heaven, he promised us THE PARACLETE, THE SANCTIFIER, the third Person. It is He, who after Jesus ascended came to remedy a frightful situation: The Church whose head is Christ and the earlyChristians the body had no'SOUL'.He came and became THE SOUL OFTHE CHURCH. The Peter of pre-pentecost time was different after the pentecost. It's this HOLYSPIRIT who has kept the Church moving against all odds...
This Triune-one God lives on in unity in diversity... To YOU O BLESSED TRINITY I raise up my voice in praises, my knees bended in adoration and my mind wondering in admiration. Help us O blessed Trinity to believe in You and worship you as the true faith teaches: THREE PERSONS,ETERNAL IN GLORY, ONE GOD, INFINITE IN MAJESTY. GLORY BE TO THE FATHER AND TO THE SON AND TO THE HOLY SPIRIT WHO WAS, IS AND SHALL CONTINUE IN THE FUTURE. AMEN.
